Ingame Features and processing

A Heroes Path: Legend of the Dragonlord is a project which main goal is to bring a fun and original environment to the Warcraft III oRPG scene. Therefor I try to make the project unique in such a way that quests, units and objects will be more innovatingly used than in most grind based oRPG's in the Warcraft III universe.

 Ingame Feautures

The project will feature the following:

1. A level cap of 26

2. A wide variety of quests that will go further than the basic grind missions. Quests are devided in free roam and main questline quests.

3. A wide variety of custom items, directly attachable to your Hero, some more unique and rare than others.

4. A recipe system that makes it possible to obtain cool and unique objects and items trough gathering items and combine them  to form a new item.

5. The ability to go out fishing with a fishingpole! This will not only work as a small gimmick but will open possibilities to gain your own food and gather fish for special recipes.

6. Countless merchants that will be glad to sell you special ingredients and consumables. They, ofcourse, will also be happy to buy some of your rare goods.

7. Prostitutes that will give you multiple options to be "served" with if you pay them well, giving you buffs that can be both temporarily as permanent.

8. A PvP Battlefield where you can duel against your fellow players.

9. A Rank System that allows you to distinguish yourself from the other players trough killing creatures! Your rank will also function as reputation with the local authorities and the Guild which means you will be able to unlock special quests and unique items!

And much, much more...

Processing

Currently the project is still under development, but I'm very pleased with the processing. To give a more statistic look on how far the project has proceeded till now and what is yet to be done I made a list of do's and done's, below.

Terrain - 100/100 (The nature, object placings and formations used in the project)

Core Objecting - 100/100 (These objects consist all the objects except for the ones used in keyroles for the Quest Triggers)

Quest Objecting - ?/100 (These objects are solely made for the questlines and it cannot yet be determined how much objects for the quest in a scale of 0 to 100 are done and which are still to be made)

Custom Models - 100/100 (These are all the custom models (units, attachments, destructibles and doodads) that are going to be used in the project)

Core Triggers - 100/100 (These triggers consist all the triggers except for the Quests)

Quest Triggers - 0/100 (These triggers have not yet started to be worked on, cause of a not yet written plot)

Background Lore - 100/100 (The background lore the story uses for historical reverals)

Quest Lore - 0/100 (This has not yet been made cause of both bussyness with other factors of the game as with things outside the game zone, but it will be worked on in a short period)

Tests

The project will undergo 2 different test differentials before the official version will come out. These tests will be the Closed Alpha test and the Closed Beta test. Both tests have its focus on different aspects of the game, with the Alpha test the non-quest gameplay and objecting will be tested, while with the Beta test the quests and storyline will be commented.

Both of these tests have "Closed" infront of them, which means you can not openly join them without invitation by the direct owner and producer of A Heroes Path: Legend of the Dragonlord, Syntic_Arrow.

I cannot give an exact date on when the project will be completed, but it will be most expected to be done in a period prior to the may-summervacation of the year 2009.
